Oversaw Pittsburgh Data Center Shared TSM Environment, providing senior-level support to other TSM administrators, and identifying issues impacting shared TSM environment. Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) Administrator

Performed system administration of 14 TSM servers with approximately 1,500 clients dispersed across five sites, serving key role in design and migration planning of Data Center consolidation to Atlanta, GA. Leveraged past experiences with migrating the Chubb account from New Jersey to Dallas and Pittsburgh, identifying and improving faulty automated backend processes utilizing UNIX Shell and AWK scripting. Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) Architect/ Implementer/ Unix Support

Maintained five AIX-based TSM servers with 1,150 clients, sizing and designing future Chubb environment following transfer to Dallas and Pittsburgh. Migrated Chubb TSM environment to ACS ensuring seamless export/import of long-term data. Designed techniques to retain data pertinent to litigation issues within TSM while avoiding TSM database size limitations.

Chubb & Son - 2002 to 2004

TSM Administration/ Unix Support

Administered three large AIX-based TSM instances with approximately 900 Windows clients and 300 Unix clients. Implemented and maintained TDP for Oracle and MSSQL on Solaris, AIX, and Windows-based TSM clients. Implemented and maintained UDB backup using the TSM API and implementing the TDP for NDMP NAS backup environment. Implemented DRM to work with Hitachi True Copy of TSM DBB to remote DR facility. Setup, Configured, and monitored IBM DS4300 and DS4800 (FastT). Supported the STK ACSLS and Gresham EDT environment, utilizing UNIX Shell and AWK scripting to automate backend processes. Also provided AIX, Solaris, and Linux support being a part of the Unix team.
